Clean Your Kangen Water Machine Regularly to Make It Always in A Good Shape
It is very important to clean your machine often. This simple maintenance will help your machine produce the highest quality water and will keep it working for many, many years. The biggest issue for the performance of a water ionizer is mineral build up, also known as “scale”. The majority of this build up is caused by the calcium in the water source. You may be familiar with the term “hard water”; this means there is a high concentration of minerals in the water and, unfortunately, most of the public water supply has hard water. This makes cleaning the machines even more important!

There are several ways to clean your machine and there are even a few things you can do each day to help keep your machine clean. The first way is using the e-cleaner to clean your machine yourself. It is an easy process and should be done more often if you reside in an area with very hard water. If you are making a lot of water, it is recommended that you use the e-cleaner to clean your machine as often as once every two weeks. To help keep your machine clean you can also run the beauty water for 3 – 5 minutes each day. This forces the polarity of the plates to reverse, so minerals which were attracted to the plates are now repelled. It is also recommended that you have your machine “deep cleaned” at least once a year. A deep cleaning service can be done at Kangen Water Enagic service centers. Your annual machine cleaning is also a great time to replace the internal filter. A newly deep cleaned machine, with a brand new internal filter, is an excellent combination for the best quality and most effective water properties!

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
I am getting very slow water flow from my machine. And a message is displayed on machine change the filter. Kindly assist.
I read where you have to leave the ecleaner in place for 8 hours to overnight before rinsing. I have done this for 4 hours. Is that too little?
Also is it really necessary to deep clean with the company because when I spoke to them the last time a year ago they weren't doing this anymore unless there was a specific issue involved. This was due to costs to send in and return which have skyrocketed plus damages to machines in shipping. Also do we need to use the beauty treatment to reverse the polarity. I never did this and I had mine for 13 years.
Dear Richard,
Thank you for sharing your experience and questions.
For cleaning procedures and usage methods, recommendations can vary depending on the machine condition, water quality, and usage history. Many users maintain their machines well with regular care, and long-term ownership like yours is a great example of that. Leaving the ecleaner in place for 4 hours is great, and make it 8 hours to overnight before rinsing is even better.
